Algeria have brought back legendary, former player Rabah Madjer as their new national team coach.
Madjer replaces Spaniard Lucas Alcaraz who was sacked following Algeria’s failure to qualify for 2018 World Cup in Russia.
The 58-year-old first took charge of his country in 1994, with his most recent spell ending in 2002 after an early exit from the Africa Cup of Nations.
His first assignment will be against the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifier on November 10.
