The Cross River State Government has sworn-in Justice Michael Edem as the Chief Judge of Cross River State.
The swearing in, is followed by a confirmation of his appointment by State House of Assembly headed by the Speaker, Rt. Hon. John Gaul Lebo at plenary few days ago.
The Chief Judge who had been in acting capacity for few months was sworn in at the Exco Chambers at the Government House by the Secretary to the State government.
Congratulating the man of the moment, the governor, Ben Ayade, urges him to ensure that, he does not use his position to trample on the oppressed but ensure that Justice is dispensed with truth.
Governor Ayade did not hesitate in informing him of the herculean tasks that awaits his office and the need to be steadfast in his present position.
