‘One Night Stand’ With Adekunle Gold Set For December 26

Singer, Adekunle Gold has announced his live musical concert ‘One Night Stand With Adekunle Gold’ which is set to hold on December 26, 2017, Boxing Day.

The ‘Orente’ crooner made the announcement via social media where he expressed excitement over the upcoming event which he described as his first headline show in Lagos.

Gold who has established his reputation as an urban highlife singer, has continued to win the hearts of fans with his style of music and hit tracks.

His 2014 single ‘Sade’ received massive airplay on various Nigerian radio stations. His follow-up single, ‘Orente’, also received positive reviews from music critics and consumers.

In 2015, he was nominated in the Most Promising Act of the Year category at the 2015 City People Entertainment Awards while his 2014 single ‘Sade’ was nominated for Best Alternative Song at The Headies 2015.

Formerly signed to the YBNL Nation record label, he has worked with artistes such as Simi and Olamide.
On July 18, 2016, Gold revealed the cover and track list of his debut studio album titled Gold.

The album, a 16-track project, was produced by Pheelz and Masterkraft among others and was released on July 25.

On leaving YBNL, the singer unveiled his band ‘The 79th Element’.
