The Governor of Enugu State, Mr Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi, has unveiled Gbenga Ogunbote as the new coach of the state-owned Enugu Rangers International Football Club.
This follows the September 12 dissolution of Board and Management of Rangers Management Corporation and termination of appointment of contract staff.
The previous management was axed after Rangers finished in a disappointing 14th spot last season.
Coach Ogunbote who replaces Sylvanus Okpara is confident that his antecedents and experience from Enyimba, Sunshine Stars, and some other clubs in the Nigerian Premier League will help him take the Enugu Rangers to greater heights.
