The U.S Ambassador to Nigeria Stuart Symington has said that his county will work closely with Nigeria’s electoral body to ensure that the Anambra, Ekiti and the 2019 general elections is free, fair and credible.

Mr Symington made this known in Ado Ekiti, the Ekiti state capital when he paid a courtesy visit to the Governor Ayodele Fayose at the Oke Ayoba lodge.

Governor Fayose who described the visit of the envoy as timely said the major problem affecting the growth of the country was the poor attitude and insincerity of leaders.

He urged the U.S. to keep an eye on the elections in the state.

The governor also restated his administration to ensuring that Nigeria remains one indivisible entity.
