Officials of the Department of State Services have arrested a man for trying to buy votes in the ongoing Anambra governorship election.
The man was arrested at the Community Primary School, Amawbia, in Awka the state capital for attempting to pay voters to vote for his candidate.
Security officials who were alerted about his actions led him away from the polling unit and into a Hilux parked close to the unit.
It was gathered that the man is a professor.
