Despite beating Argentina 4-2 in an international friendly earlier this month Nigeria dropped to 50 in the world and 8th in Africa.
The top 10 teams in Africa are; Senegal, Tunisia, Egypt, Congo Dr, Morrocco, which makes Nigeria the only qualified team not in the top 5.
The next FIFA world ranking will be published December 21, 2017.
