Senate President Bukola Saraki and the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr Yakubu Dogara, have sent congratulatory messages to President Muhammadu Buhari who turned 75 today.
While Saraki wished the President the blessings of the Almighty and continued wisdom and grace to celebrate another year, Dogara hailed him for his leadership.
“Under his leadership, Nigeria is steadily regaining its past glory, winning investors’ confidence and earning global respect and recognition. He has remained consistent in dealing with corruption, insecurity and unemployment through various reforms and interventions,” Dogara tweeted.
“We pray that God continues to keep President @MBuhari in good health and bless him with more fruitful and prosperous years of service to the people and the nation.”
Governor Rauf Aregbesola of Osun State, the All Progressives Congress and the President’s spokespersons – Femi Adesina and Garba Shehu – were among those who praised him on the occasion.

Governor Aregbesola, who prayed that God should help him to lead the country in the right direction, praised the President for his “unrivalled commitment” to a better Nigeria.
