Osinbajo Promises Nigerians Fuel Queues Will Be Eliminated

The Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo has assured that the lingering fuel scarcity will completely be removed.

Prof. Osinbajo who met with the oil marketers in the company of the Minister of State for Petroleum, Dr Ibe Kachikwu made this known via his twitter handle.

According to Osinbajo, “Held a meeting with major oil marketers this morning, within the next few days, we expect the fuel queues to be eliminated.

“We will continue to engage the marketers so that this sad episode is not repeated”.

The Vice President had assured Nigerians that efforts are ongoing and the government is working tirelessly to bring an end to the fuel scarcity.

He said this on Sunday while sympathizing with Nigerians over the inconveniences caused by the lingering fuel crisis even as Christians around the world celebrate Christmas.

Osinbajo who made surprise appearances at two fuel stations, Oando in Lekki and Hayden Petrol Station, Victoria Island, Lagos, said he witnessed first hand the sufferings of Nigerians who have been subjected to endless queues just to purchase the product.
