The Nigeria Taekwondo Federation (NTF) has fixed January 19, 2018, as the date for the Maiden National Junior Championships in Abuja.
NTF Technical Director, Chika Chukwumerije said winners of the tournament will join the champions of the 2017 National Youth Games for 10-day training camp.
The 2008 Beijing Olympics bronze medallist also revealed that the athletes will feature at the Junior World Championships, African youth games, African Junior Championships, and Youth Olympics.
The training camp has been scheduled to hold from January 21 to 31, 2018.
