The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Kwara state says it is repositioning itself to win next year’s governorship election in the state.

The state chairman of the party, Iyiola Oyedepo disclosed this at the party’s peace meeting in Ilorin.

The party had been embroiled in leadership tussle until November 2017 when the state congress produced the Oyedepo-led executive.

Oyedepo told party faithful to bury their hatchets and work together in harmony in order to dislodge the APC government next year.

He promised to run an all-inclusive administration which shall take care of all party members and reposition the PDP to take over the mantle of leadership in Kwara state.

Another elder of the party, Professor Shuayb Oba-Abduraheem also urged the members to work in unity and avoid mistakes of the past which denies them victory in the state.
