The Abia Police Command has arrested a kidnap gang wearing the police uniform and carrying AK47 to rob and kidnap residents of the state.
The State Commissioner of Police, Anthony Ogbizi, while speaking to newsmen at the officers mess, Umuahia, warned all kidnappers to relocate because the strategy adopted by the command will fish them out an attempt made to deny the act by the ringleader, Stanley Ifeanyi, a 38 years old bus driver from Osisioma Ngwa who was dismissed from police college for smoking weed failed.
The commissioner further stated that the underground activities of the outlaw IPOB in carrying their threat would not go unpunished as some members were arrested in Aba and hunt for others based on their confessional statement is still ongoing.
