The Anambra state, Willie Obiano, is fulfilling his campaign promises as some of the roads across the three senatorial zones are currently undergoing construction.

The governor while inspecting the bridge along the SARS Awkuzu – Abube Nando road, he said that his commitment to completing all projects started at record time in fulfillment of promises made to the people of the state adding that access must be created into all food basins of the state for easy evacuation of produce and further development.

During the inspection, the governor expressed excitement over the work being done, adding that the road is important as it provides a diversion from the very busy major roads and when completed will permanently save the area from erosion challenges.

Meanwhile, the State Commissioner for Road Infrastructure, Furniture and Maintenance, gave an assurance of timely completion of the project.

For the governor it is a promise fulfilled as well ensuring opening up of the agrarian communities of Anambra for easy access and evacuation of food production while expecting part of the area to be designated for real estate development as it is still a virgin area and very conducive.
