The Ogun state government has trained about 500 unemployed youths in the state, as efforts to boost employment in the state.
The youths are being trained in various sectors such as engineering, digital technology, construction and entrepreneurship development.
Addressing the trainees at the industrial incubation centre in Abeokuta, the state capital, the state Commissioner for Commerce and Industry, Bimbo Ashiru, urged them to adequately utilize the various opportunities being offered by the state government
He further asked them to be readily available for the current industrial revolution happening in the state by acquiring the necessary technical skills to take up the challenge and bridge the human capital deficiency
Some of the trainees while promising to put in their best to make the state proud however commended the state government for the opportunity
