Social Media Week 2018 is finally coming to a close today, (Friday) March 2.

The event brought together industry experts and brands who leverage social media to bring about positive change.

With sessions cutting across various topics from wellness, to fashion, arts, banking and governance, the event which took place at the Landmark Center is indeed one that many believe is capable of birthing a social revolution.

Among those present were CEO, Channels Media Group, Mr John Momoh. If you missed the session, read about it Here.

Others were the CEO, Guarantee Trust Bank, Mr Segun Agbaje, who spoke about the need for business owners to slow down, in a world of motion in order to gain competitive advantage.

Also speaking on the use of film and social media to accelerate change, were actresses, Kemi Akindoju, Omoni Oboli and film director, Ishaya Bako.

Other speakers on a range of topics included, social media expert, Japhet Omojuwa; TV presenter, Chambalian Usor; Charles O’Tudor and a representative of Bishop Kukah, among others who addressed the topic, battling violent extremism.

Asides the discussion sessions, brands exhibited some of their products, many of which were made to represent the of rich African culture.
