Mama Boko Haram speaks to Channels Television on March 23, 2018, in Kano State about how the Dapchi schoolgirls regained freedom from the captivity of the terrorists.

The founder of Complete Care and Aid Foundation, Mrs Aisha Wakil, has revealed her efforts towards securing the release of the girls abducted by Boko Haram terrorist from their school in Dapchi, a town in Yobe State.

Wakil, who is fondly called ‘Mama Boko Haram’, spoke exclusively to Channels Television on Friday in Kano State.

She gave the assurance that the last Dapchi schoolgirl, Leah Sharibu, still in captivity would soon be released by the insurgents.

President Buhari received the freed Dapchi schoolgirls and others at the State House in Abuja on March 23, 2018.

Mama Boko Haram was also hopeful that with commitment and sincerity on the part of the government, the remaining Chibok girls would return home safely.

She added that lasting peace would be restored in the troubled region as the Boko Haram insurgency would soon be a thing of the past in the country.
