The former Governor of Kaduna State, Ramalan Yero, was on Friday released by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) after over four hours of questioning.
The former governor was at the Kaduna EFCC office earlier on Friday morning for more interrogation on the role which he played in the disbursement of the N750million PDP campaign fund before the 2015 general election.
He is being interrogated by the anti-graft agency alongside the former Kaduna state PDP Chairman, Haruna Gaya and former Secretary to the state government, Hamza Ishaq.
On Friday morning, the three men voluntarily reported to the Kaduna State EFCC office in the state capital, where they were interrogated by detectives of the commission for over four hours.
The former governor and two others were later released on administrative bail after answering questions from EFCC operatives.
Commenting on the development, the spokesman of the former governor, Yakubu Lere, absorbed his Yero of any wrongdoing in connection with the disbursement of the campaign fund.
He also alleged that Yero is being politically blackmailed.
