Wife of the Benue State Governor, Eunice Ortom, has challenged women to pursue more political ambitions beyond making themselves available for mobilization of votes even as the 2019 general election approaches.
She said this on Thursday while addressing a group of women under the Inspire The Lady project organised to empower women for self-sufficiency and independence.
Speaking further, Mrs Ortom said the campaign for women involvement in politics is yielding results, especially with last week’s declaration of support by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Organisers of the project also believe that when all hands are on deck, personal and collective goals for women will be achieved.
They, therefore, called on women across the state to support each other as they strive for excellence in whatever they do.
