We Will Send Fayose Packing, Kogi Governor Tells Ekiti People

Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello addressing the crowd of All Progressives Congress supporters during a Mega Rally in Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital on Tuesday.

Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, has told the people of Ekiti State not to be intimidated in sacking Governor Ayodele Fayose from the Government House.

He challenged the people on Tuesday during a mega rally organised by the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ado Ekiti, the state capital.

“Saturday, we will send him (Fayose) packing from Government House. I will be here with you, nobody will intimidate you,” he said.

According to the governor, the people of the South West state would tame Fayose in Saturday’s vote that would produce a leader for four years.

This is even as the Bello accused his Ekiti State colleague for allegedly disrupting the stakeholders meeting that was held yesterday.

He added, “There is somebody’s name and they call him Fayose. He disrupted the stakeholders meeting. He is lucky that I was not there.

Bello, also assured the youths of the state that the way the APC sacked the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ondo State would be repeated in Ekiti.

“Exactly the way we did it on Ondo State, we are going to repeat it in Ekiti State. Nigerian youths, am I telling lies? Are we ready to do it on Saturday?” he asked.
