Cambodian PM Hails Effort To ‘Eliminate Traitors’ At Mass Election Rally

Cambodia’s Prime Minister Hun Sen on Friday hailed the success of efforts to “eliminate traitors” at a mass election rally ahead of an election which is not being contested by the opposition.

“Recently we took legal action to eliminate traitors who attempted to topple the government and return the country to war,” he said to a vast crowd of ruling party supporters of a court ruling that disbanded the only serious opposition.
