Two residents of Ilaramokin, in Ifedore Local Government Area of Ondo State, have been killed after a commercial bus accident along the Akure-Ilesa Highway.
An eyewitness told Channels Television on Monday, that the incident occurred on Sunday evening when the two persons riding on a motorcycle, were hit by the 18-passenger Toyota commercial bus, which subsequently crushed them to death.
Youths resident in the community were aggrieved by this and they set the commercial bus ablaze in protest.

It took the intervention of policemen and the men of the Ondo State Sector Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) to clear the traffic gridlock caused by the protesters.
The Spokesperson of Ondo State Police Command, Femi Joseph, confirmed the incident to Channels Television. He accused the protesters of taking laws into their hands by setting the commercial bus ablaze.
According to the police spokesperson, no arrest has been made in connection with the incident while normalcy has since been restored to the area.
