Former Acting Governor of Adamawa State, James Barka, has announced his intentions to dump the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Barka, who is also a member of the Presidential Committee on North East Initiative (PCNI), said this on Friday when he received a delegation of the PDP led by its state chairman.
He said he could no longer remain in the party as a result of the governor, Mohammed Jibrilla’s “inconsistent and deceptive attitude”.
According to him Jibrilla’s administration runs contrary to political tenets and the Governor has never been a man of his words but only succeeds in deceiving the electorates.
