Imo Police Parade Fake U.S. Soldier Over Alleged Fraud

The Imo State Police Command has arrested a man who they claimed is an American citizen and self-acclaimed U.S. soldier for impersonation and fraud.

The suspect, identified as Garrick Michael Slack, was paraded on Saturday at the command headquarters in Owerri, the Imo State capital.

The commissioner of Police, Dasuki Galadanchi, told journalists that Garrick specialised in defrauding women with the promise of taking them to the United States of America. The police noted that Garrick deceived his victims by claiming that he is a member of the U.S army.

Other suspects paraded.

 

Some other suspected criminals were also paraded for various crimes including alleged armed robbery, child trafficking, and cultism, alongside some weapons allegedly used by them.
