PHOTOS: Acting DSS DG Attends First Security Meeting With Buhari

Acting DSS DG, Mr Matthew Seiyefa, attends the Security Council meeting presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari in Abuja on August 20, 2018.

 

The Acting Director-General of the Department of State Services (DSS), Mr Matthew Seiyefa, on Monday attended his first Security Council meeting since his new appointment.

President Muhammadu Buhari presided over the meeting inside the Presidential Villa in Abuja, two weeks after Mr Seiyefa took over from the former DSS DG, Mr Lawal Daura.

The Chief of Defence Staff, General Abayomi Olonisakin, and other service chiefs also attended the meeting.

Others present were Inspector General of Police, Mr Ibrahim Idris, and the Director-General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Ahmed Abubakar,
