Three persons have been burnt to death while five others sustained injuries in a motor accident along Zariagi-Lokoja highway in Kogi.
The Public Education Officer of the Federal Road Safety Corps, (FRSC), Kogi Command, who confirmed the incident to Channels Television, said the accident occurred on Thursday morning.

According to him, nine persons and three vehicles, a Toyota Carina car, a Scania Truck and Mack Tanker were all involved in the accident.
He said that one of the passengers who escaped unhurt blamed the incident on over-speeding.
The victims are, however, receiving treatment at the Federal Medical Centre in Lokoja.
