The Oyo State Governor on Thursday met with Musician, Yinka Ayefele, over the demolition of his Music House in the state.
At the meeting which lasted nearly four hours at the governor’s office, Ajimobi maintained that the building had flouted the state government’s Land Use Act.
He, however, stated that the Rule of Law would be tempered with compassion to end the crisis.

Ayefele on the other hand, regretted that he had not made a move to see the governor himself earlier, instead of sending emissaries.
He, however, assured the governor that his architect was already working on the building plan to correct all the lapses highlighted by government.
Also present at the meeting was traditional ruler, the Alaafin of Oyo (Oba) Lamidi Adeyemi, who also appealed to Ajimobi to handle the matter with compassion.
After the meeting, a committee set up by the government sat with Ayefele’s team to to find solutions to the matter.
