The lawmaker representing Wamba constituency in the Nasarawa State House Of Assembly, Makpa Malla, has defected from the All Progressive Congress (APC) to the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
He confirmed this to Channels Television’s correspondent on Tuesday.
In a letter to the Speaker of the Assembly, he said the defection was because of the division in the party which led to a faction called the R-APC, being created.
The Lawmaker also obtained a court order restraining the Assembly from declaring his seat vacant.
