The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the Osun governorship election, Adeleke Ademola, has accused the All Progressives Congress of rigging the poll and stealing his mandate.

In an exclusive interview with Channels Television‘s political correspondent, Seun Okinbaloyole, Adeleke insisted that he won the governorship election and that he had evidence to back his allegation of electoral fraud and rigging during the poll.

“I don’t want the APC to know about what we have on them until we get to court,” the PDP candidate said when asked what evidence he had.

“I am so confident,” he added.

The Independent National Electoral Commission had declared Gboyega Oyetola of the APC the winner of the election after he secured got 255,505 votes, as against Adeleke’s 255,023 votes.

But Adeleke insisted that the APC did not win the polls.

As a result, he said the party could not celebrate and are scared because of the evidence he had gathered.
