The Military on Monday marked Nigeria’s 58th Independence Day anniversary with a parade of its hardware at the Eagle Square in Abuja, the nation’s capital.
Present at the occasion were President Muhammadu Buhari, Vice President Professor Yemi Osinbajo; Former Chief of General Staff, General Oladipo Diya and Head of Civil Service, Mrs Winifred Oyo-Ita.
Others included the Former Head of State General Yakub Gowon, Chief Justice of Nigeria, Hon Justice Walter Onnohgen and the Former Head of State Gen Abdulsalami Abubakar.
Across the country, there was also a line up of activities to mark the day.
