The collation of results for the Adamawa All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship primary has commenced amidst a protest by two of the three aspirants.
The two aspirants – Nuhu Ribadu and Dr Mahmood Halilu faulted the exercise which took place on Friday, insisting that it did not hold.
According to Halilu, election materials arrived late and the exercise was hijacked by state government agents.
Ribadu also stated that no accreditation took place anywhere in line with the requirement of the primaries.
He, therefore, called on the National Working Committee to cancel the exercise.
