Groups from various Local Government Areas of Niger State on Monday protested against the outcome of the All Progressives Congress (APC) House of Assembly primary which took place at the weekend.

The groups of people who marched to the party’s secretariat in the state demanded the cancellation of results of the election which held across the 25 LGAs.

Some of the aspirants who briefed journalists alleged that no election was conducted and that the results announced were not a reflection of the people’s will.

According to them the current Speaker of the State House of Assembly, Ahmed Marafa masterminded the entire process.

They, therefore, called for his disqualification from the race.
