The family of Mr Moses Adeoye, the treasurer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ekiti State, who was killed by unknown gunmen, has described the killing as very painful and demanded that the assailants are brought to book.
Adeoye was shot dead at about 9:00 pm on Wednesday at his residence in Otun Ekiti.
The Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Caleb Ikechukwu, assured the family that the force is working to unmask the culprits.
The incident comes barely two months after another chieftain of the party in the state, Mr Bunmi Ojo, was also shot dead at a viewing centre in the state.
