The former wife of the Ooni of Ife, Zaynab Otiti-Obanor, has congratulated the monarch and his new bride, Naomi Oluwaseyi, on their marriage.
She took to Instagram on Monday, to congratulate the couple who officially tied the knot on Thursday – a move which her fans have applauded her for.
“It was once said that there is nobility in compassion, beauty in empathy and grace in forgiveness. Congratulations to the Ooni and his new bride, Shiekunola Naomi Moronke Oluwaseyi. May God bless your union,” She wrote.
The Former queen had confirmed in a statement she released last year that her 17-month-old marriage to the Ooni, had ended.
The new wife who is said to be in her 20’s is an evangelist and also the founder of EN Heralds Ministry based in Akure, Ondo State.
It was jubilation galore at Ile-Ife, Osun State when the Ooni received her at the palace on Thursday, a day after he marked his 44th birthday.
According to the spokesperson of the palace, the marriage rights were done privately in Akure and she was later received at the Ooni’s palace.

The monarch took to social media to express his joy.
He wrote, “I waited patiently upon the Almighty the King of kings, he eventually did it in the midst of many trials.
“Shilekunola, Moronke, Naomi; the greatest Arsenal you can apply on this highly revered throne with many rules and regulations in the midst of undiluted tradition, heritage and culture is the “Fear of God In You”.
“It is the beginning of your wisdom on this throne of Oduduwa. You are welcome home my beautiful and adorable queen”.
