President Muhammadu Buhari has met with four governors of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from the South-south region of the country.
The meeting held on Tuesday at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.
The governors who met with the President are Nyesom Wike of Rivers, Bayelsa’s Seriake Dickson, Udom Emmanuel from Akwa Ibom, and Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta State.
Governor Dickson told reporters after the meeting that issues discussed bordered on the interest of their respective states and the country at large.
President Buhari met with the governors upon his arrival from Kaduna where he paid a condolence visit following the recent violence that claimed several lives in the state.
