File: President Muhammadu Buhari

President Muhammadu Buhari has inaugurated the 2019 Armed Forces Remembrance Day Emblem and Appeal Fund.

The Emblem will be used in paying special tributes to the fallen heroes especially those who lost their lives in the war against terrorism in the northeast.

President Buhari donated 10million naira on behalf of the Federal Government just before the commencement of the Federal Executive Council meeting.

He called on political leaders to be united and conduct their utterances in order not to fan embers of disunity.

The President condemned the recent killing of two aid workers by the Boko Haram Sect despite the Federal Government’s efforts to avert it.

He called on all Nigerians and others residents in the country to procure and wear the emblem with pride as well as donate generously to identify with those who laid down their lives for peace and security of their fatherland.
