The governor said the curfew will run from 7:00 pm to 6:00 am and then everyone to comply with the order.

“The government has decided to impose a curfew from the hours of 7.00pm to 6.00am from today, Tuesday, 20th November 2018, until further notice in the following areas of Yelwan Tsakani, Unguwan Kusu, Unguwan Gas, Lushi and Kagadama.

“This had come at a time when the federal government is taking necessary measures to restore peace in some parts of the country ravaged by communal conflicts.

“We must therefore not allow ourselves to be used by disgruntled elements who may want to plant seeds of discord among us,” he said.

He also vowed to bring to justice the perpetrators of the violence and asked traditional rulers, community and religious leaders to preach tolerance, peace and respect for one another to their followers.
