Ten farmers have been reported killed in Gora community of Safana Local Government Area in Katsina State on Tuesday.
One person, however, escaped but sustained injuries in the process and is now receiving medical attention.
Governor Bello Masari who paid a condolence visit to families of the deceased assured the community of his administration’s determination to protect lives and property.
He, therefore, appealed to the residents to continue to help the government with information to bring an end to the farmer/herder clashes as well as the violent killings.
