The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) will on Monday release its final guidelines for the conduct of the general elections in February.

The National Commissioner and Chairman of INEC’s Information and Voter Education Committee, Festus Okoye, said this when he made an appearance on Channels Television’s breakfast show, Sunrise Daily on Friday.

He said, “The Independent National Electoral Commission met yesterday and took a look at the existing guidelines which we forwarded to the political parties, looked at the suggestions made by the parties, civil society groups, the media, security agencies and other critical stakeholders and we have taken all those concerns on board.
