Gunmen have attacked an Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) vehicle conveying non-sensitive election materials to Logo Local Government Area of Benue State.
The INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner in the state, Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda, who confirmed the incident, said that the vehicle was carrying items meant for the personal use of the officials during the elections.
He added that the attackers were said to have been dressed in military uniform.
