Several people have been reportedly injured and about 28 houses burnt in another clash between the Tivs and Jukuns in Wukari Local Government Area of Taraba State.
Confirming the violence, Chairman of the LGA, Mr Daniel Grace told channels television that it was a reprisal attack.
He alleged that a Special Task Force from Benue State had attacked the Jukuns in the early hours of Saturday in retaliation for an attack they believed had been perpetrated them.

According to him, security operatives succeeded in gunning down one of the hoodlums.
Reacting to the incident, the Police Public Relations Officer of the state, Mr David Misal, confirmed the reprisals between the ethnic groups in which houses on both sides were set ablaze.
Meanwhile, security operatives have been drafted to the area and succeeded in restoring calm.
