Supporters of the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) presidential candidate in the February 28 elections, Atiku Abubakar, on Wednesday stormed premises of the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal in protest.

The protesters carrying various placards demand that their stolen mandate be returned by the judiciary.

The claimed that the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has failed them and they believe that the Court of Appeal will let justice prevail.

The tribunal has however adjourned sitting till May 22, 2019, to hear the application filed by the PDP and its candidate, Atiku Abubakar.

This was after the tribunal sat amid tight security by a combined team of security operatives from the Army, Police and Civil Defence which barricaded the premises of the Court of Appeal in Abuja.
