Operatives of the Operation Puff Adder deployed to Batsari LGA of Katsina State have succeeded in killing one suspected bandit and fatally injured another during its operation in Dagwarwa village of Batsari_Safana Axis.
In a press briefing held at the command headquarters, Katsina State, the Commissioner of Police in the state, CP Sanusi Buba told journalists that the team led by the Divisional Police Officer in Batsari LGA raided one of the bandits camps and had a fierce gun duel.

He says the team had equally succeeded in dislodging the hoodlums from their enclaves as a result of which one of the hoodlums was killed, one arrested alive though fatally injured and the rest took to their heels into the forest.
Items recovered from the suspects include one military rifle, four abandoned motorcycles and two bags of food items as well as four hand sets.
Investigation is still ongoing to arrest the remaining members of the syndicate who took to their heels.
