A 61-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly cutting off the hand of an 11-year-old boy.
The incident was said to have occurred on June 7, 2019 at about 12:20 pm and reported at the Okoko Police Station by one Doris Isaac who claimed that the victim was her foster son.

According to a statement issued by the State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Bala Elkana, the suspect stated that he saw the victim around his fish pond and attacked him because he assumed that he came to steal his fish.
The Police say investigation is ongoing and the suspect will be charged to court soon.
