The immediate former Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Dr Maikanti Baru says he has no regrets during his three years in office.
Baru said this on Tuesday after a closed-door meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the State House in Abuja.
He added that the challenge of availability in dual purpose kerosene in Nigeria is over, due to the efforts of his administration.
He explained further that NNPC halted the exorbitant sale of kerosene at 260/300 naira in the market and ensured affordability and availability through the private sector during his tenure.
This, according to him allows the market to take charge, thereby making it affordable for the common man.
