PHOTOS: Police Arrest Protesting Shiite Members In Abuja

Police at the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) on Thursday arrested some Members of the Islamic Movement in Nigeria (IMN) who returned to the streets of Abuja, to protest the continued detention of their leader, Sheikh Ibrahim El-Zakzaky.

The police fired tear gas canisters to disperse the mob of Shiites, with some members of the sect arrested along within axis of the Federal secretariat area where the protest took place.
