Six people have been reportedly killed by gunmen in Tsokundi village of Wukari Local Government Area in Taraba state.

Mr Daniel alleged that those that attacked Tsokundi village are Tiv militias whom they have been in a feud with for several years now.

He also alleged that the Tiv militias are camping at Kyado primary school in Benue state, from where they launch their attack, pointing out that the recent attack was launched from same said school.

”This recent attack, they came from Kyado primary school in Benue state, stopped at Tor Damisa in Donga local government area of Taraba state before unleashing mayhem on villagers of Tsokundi community in Wukari L G A”.

As at the time of filing in this report, all calls and messages to the Public Relations Officer, Taraba state Police command proved abortive, as he neither picked nor responded to messages to confirm the incident.

The Tiv/Jukun crisis is an age long fracas which has attracted the attention of both state Governors of Taraba and Benue as well as the Federal government, yet the killings have continued unabated.
