Nigeria Curlers are on the verge of making history again on Ice as Nigeria will battle at the World Mixed Curling Championship in Aberdeen, Scotland that will serve as qualifiers for the 2022 Winter Games in Beijing, China.

Nigeria have been drawn in Group F which includes Afghanistan, Czech Republic, Spain, Finland, France, Hong Kong and Slovenia.

The best two teams will qualify for the second round of the 43 teams championship as well as the four 3rd best-ranked teams.

The Championship will begin on October 12th, 2019 to October 19th, 2019.

Nigeria Curlers will open their Campaign against Slovenia on October 12th.

Meanwhile, the Nigeria Curling Federation has picked four Curlers for the championship. They are T.J Cole, Susana Cole, Harold Wood, and Desmy Carolay Strehlow.

Team Nigeria became the First Africa country to ever compete in Curling when T.J and Susan competed at the Mixed Championship in Norway in April this year.

They also became the first African team to beat a European Side in the game of Curling.
