Algeria will earn $4.5 million dollars for emerging champions of the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).
Baghdad Bounedjah scored the winner in the second minute as the desert foxes edged the Terranga Lions of Senegal 1-nil to claim their second AFCON title after 29 years.

Runners up, Senegal will get $2 million dollars while the Super Eagles of Nigeria who finished in third place will receive $1.5 million dollars.
Algeria midfielder Ismael Bennacer was named player of the tournament and young best player of the tournament while Algeria goalkeeper, Adrais Mbolhi was named the best goalkeeper of the tournament.
