The attack is a sequel to another right inside the Dalori IDP camp on Thursday night after the insurgents sacked and set ablaze military outposts around the camp.

They reportedly rode freely on bikes inside the camp where they looted food shooting sporadically throwing displaced persons and residents of the area including the University of Maiduguri community in panic.

Dambatta confirms that two persons were killed in the ensuing panic and pandemonium with many of the IDPs fleeing the camp.
