Emir of Bichi, Aminu Ado Bayero on Monday hosted the Durbar festival in his Kingdom alongside his district heads and other traditional rulers.
This is in compliance with the directive issued by the state governor, Abdullahi Ganduje that all first-class emirs are to host traditional Hawan Daushe in their respective emirates.
During the ceremony, the Emir called on his subjects to embrace farming and shun acts of violence that could create tension among them.
He also thanked the state government for promising to build ultra-modern hospitals in all the four new Emirates.
